Jeremy Alva Prathama
Jeremy is a Jakarta-based software engineer working at GoTo Group, the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia home to Gojek and GoPay. Currently, he is building and improving the GoPay Transfers APIs, which is used by 200+ million users across the Gojek and GoPay apps. He graduated from University of Indonesia's computer science program on a cum-laude standing, as the faculty's most outstanding student.
With ~2 years of professional engineering and product experience through various stints at technology companies from Seed to IPO, Jeremy combines broad product knowledge with an engineering skillset to view and solve problems through a unique lens. His experience in building B2C products (payments, remittance, lending) and B2B solutions (Open Banking APIs) has equipped him to thrive, especially in the fintech industry.
He is passionate about building solutions to societal problems with technology. Through his work at RISTEK, he helped solve one of the most pressing problems of student life through a campus-wide bus tracking app. His interest in developing the country's builder culture led him to cofound Recess Indonesia to facilitate students in pursuing their passion projects.
He is always on the lookout to meet with other builders who share a common interest in solving meaningful problems through technology.
